4. Hosting (Figma Sites)
The BAYPAT Invention Check is provided via Figma Sites (offered by Figma, Inc., USA) as the technical platform. When you access the pages, data is transmitted to Figma's infrastructure or its processors (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser type).
Where required, agreements on data processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with the hosting provider. For transfers to third countries (e.g. USA), the safeguards provided by law (e.g. standard contractual clauses) are used where no adequacy decision applies.
5. Server log files
Each time the website is accessed, the following information may be collected automatically and stored in log files:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Date and time of the request
- IP address
- Volume of data transferred
This data is not merged with other data sources unless there is a specific reason to investigate (e.g. security incidents). Log data is deleted after the technically required retention period.

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies for advertising purposes on the Invention Check.

7. Kein Kontaktformular
This microsite has no contact form. Form entries (name, message, etc.) are therefore not processed via the website.
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contractual/pre-contractual communication) or lit. f GDPR (general enquiries).
8. No registration, no newsletter
There is no user registration and no newsletter subscription via the Invention Check. No profiles of your usage behaviour are created for marketing purposes.
9. Recipients and processors
Recipients may include: Figma, Inc. (hosting Figma Sites)
IT service providers of Bavarian Patent Alliance GmbH (operation, support), where access is required. Data is not disclosed to third parties for other purposes unless we are legally obliged to do so.
10. Retention
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or where statutory retention periods apply. Log data is regularly deleted once no longer needed for the purpose.
